Murphy is really growing up - one ear is standing up. . . wonder when (if) the other one will? He still weighs just over 2 pounds at 12 weeks old.

The best kids in the world made sure I had a wonderful birthday last week! Dinner with Jim was lots of fun - Octoberfest at TableRock Brewpub complete with an oompah band Happy Birthday song and the chicken dance!! Before dinner Jim helped me pick out a scooter jacket and gloves from Scooters of Boise - a gift from Jim, Stef, Rachel and Chris! Thank you all very much. The ladies at the scooter store bought our dinner adding an unexpected surprise! The evening ended with cake and ice cream at Gramma's.

Stef - those are the flowers you sent! Thank you.

What a cool day to end our Paris adventure on! It started off not so cool at the flea market - not what I had imagined it would be - thought it would be cool, maybe antiquey paris stuff, but it was jeans, bongs, etc. Made our way to Sacre Couer - really cool church on top of a hill overlooking paris - great view even in the rain and clouds. Nice walk down cobblestone streets and up lots stairs. Great lunch at a pizza place with red wine - mmmm. More walking - Picasso lived in this area for a while. Saw the Lapin Agile - cute place. Rachel touched the same door that Picasso touched, Einstein touched. . . and Steve Martin probably touched.
Yesterday ate the best ice cream in the world - it really was. We saw Notre Dame again and some other stuff, I can't remember right now. I pooped out andwent home for a nap. Rachel went off on her own (see her blog at rachelmoore.com/blog). Rachel came back to the apartment at 6 p.m. and we hurried back to St. Chapelle (oh yeah, we were going to see it earlier in the day, but it was closed for lunch - just like the clinic ((inside IHS joke)). Anyway we hurried back there for a concert, some policemen let us in the door, but we didn't have cash (Visa isn't accepted everywhere) so we went to see the Eiffel Tower again, this time at night - it was really cool looking (but it was very cold and rainy out) we got on the metro to go home and as we were passing the Tower it was flashing lights crazily - that was really, really cool.
Got back to the apartment and watched more West Wing til I fell asleep.
Going back to St. Chapelle tonight for the concert - I've got Euros in pocket (oh, my debit card seems to be working, whew!)
It's Charles de Gaulle tomorrow and back home tomorrow night.
Au Revoir
